Softball Player Pool services AAA and Majors divisions.
Baseball Player Pool services Minors and Majors divisions.
The Player Pool is a running list of players that would be willing to fill-in at a game for another team in their division who is short on player(s). For those unfamiliar with the Player Pool, it's a great way to get in some extra innings if your player is seeking more time on the field.
The list of "Pool" players will be randomized. If a team is expecting to be short on players, the coach notifies the league and the player(s) at the top of the respective Pools will be offered spots in the order they are received, with players moving to the bottom of this list once they are offered. If a Majors player is needed, and one is not available from the Majors Pool, the next available AAA (Softball) or Minors (Baseball) Pool player will be invited to participate and allowed to play with safety approval from the respective pool and team-in-need coaches. Majors' players will not be allowed to play down in lower divisions as part of pool play.
