Why you should umpire

       We need Umpires

                              (Important info below!)

Little League Parent, Guardian or Friend,

A baseball game without an umpire??  It can happen!

Little League is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization.

This means ALL coaches and umpires are Volunteers.

We have a great group of umpires but we always need more.  Umpiring is a responsibility we have to provide quality baseball and softball and we need your help.

If you can’t be an umpire, you can help by being an umpire coordinator for your son’s or daughter’s team.

If you know of others who are not parents but would like to help, please have them contact me.

Becoming a volunteer umpire is easy.  Here’s how:

  • Volunteer to Umpire during registration.

  • Contact Cody Painter to complete volunteer form.

  • Tell us what age group you are interested in umpiring.

  • Get trained by attending one of the free training sessions or see me or check our web site: www.northlakell.org

Attend the Free Training that Works Best for You

Training will provide you with the background you need to umpire a Little League game with competence and confidence.  Training is completely free, and covers rules, game management, field position, and sportsmanship. See our website under umpires for more information www.northlakell.org

What North Lake Little League Will Do For You

"Brothers and Sisters too, this is great community service/volunteering example to put on your college admissions application. Your sibling will also love that you are involved!!!!!"
